At East London Cemetery and Crematorium
The East London Crematorium chapel allows 70 family members and friends to be seated during the funeral service, and a further 30 people to stand up. Music can be played using an organ or CD player, so you can choose a song, hymn or playlist that was special to your loved one.
For the ease of all attendees, there is disabled access and disabled toilets, as well as an induction loop for those with partial or no hearing. You may also request a taped audio cassette of the service, as a tribute to your loved one or to send to family or friends who could not attend the funeral service.
Regular developments are made to the Newham crematorium and its gardens to create a beautiful and natural environment for your family to visit. Vaults, mausoleums and a new waterfall feature are just a few of the new additions to the crematorium grounds.
You are welcome to visit and look around the crematorium prior to the funeral service if you wish, as well as discuss any details that are important to you.
